草木染めをしました Plant dyeing
ヤケマルタトオノというイベントに友達と一緒に行って草木染めをしました。
部屋に飾ろうと思ったのです☺️
作るのに大体１時間ぐらいかかりました。
まず、ビー玉などで模様つけてから輪ゴムで20分止めておきます。
今回は琵琶の葉っぱを使ったもので染める、またはどんぐりを使ったものです。
琵琶はピンクっぽい色の布が出来上がります。
どんぐりは茶色の布が出来上がります。
私は琵琶の葉っぱを使った汁につけておきました。
20分ほど経ってから水につけて
椿の葉っぱを焼いた炭を使った液体に10分間つけておきます。
そしたらまた琵琶の汁に漬けて置き水で洗って完成です！
ケーブルテレビの取材受けました。
思っていたのとは少し違うけれどとても良い模様だと思い
とても気に入っています🌺

I went to a event with my friend, and I did plant dyeing with her.
I wanted to decorate with it in my the room. ☺ ️
It took about 1 hour to make it.
Firstly, I put some marbles on the cloth where you want to make the pattens, and tie them with rubber band, and leave the cloth in the dyeing liquid for 20 minutes.
There were 2 choices for dyeing color.
Biwa is finished with pinkish color.
Aconds is finished with brown color.
I chosen to use Biwa one.
After about 20 minutes to soak in water, I need to soak in a liquid using charcoal burned camellia leaves for 10 minutes. Then it is finished by dipping it in juice of Biwa again, and washing it with water!
I was interviewed by cable TV.
Dyeing finish was a little different from that I imagined but I like it very much!
I think it is a very good pattern 🌺
It was a lot of fun!
